Overview
We provide comprehensive representation in complex commercial disputes pending in Federal and State court, including the counties near Chicago. Our clients range from individuals to small and mid-sized businesses. Unlike firms that may predominately handle either plaintiff or defense work, we are accustomed to representing clients on both sides.
We handle all aspects of civil litigation, including trial and appellate work. A majority of our cases concern contract and tort claims. In addition to prosecuting and defending claims for money damages, we frequently handle suits seeking all forms of equitable relief. For instance, we have recently defended accounting actions that resulted from a business dissolution, sought specific performance on behalf of the buyer of real estate, and defended claims in which an injunction and temporary restraining order was sought with regard to a restrictive covenant in an employment agreement and, in another case, with regard to the sale of a business.
In the past few years, we have tried bench and jury cases inside and outside Cook County representing residential and commercial real estate developers, construction companies, home buyers, physicians, accountants, and other professionals.
